When a guide links to a retailer, the link may identify Product Desk as the referrer. If you make a qualifying purchase, the retailer may pay us a commission. A retailer decides the price, stock, warranty, delivery and return terms.
How links are labelled
Commercial guides show an affiliate disclosure before the first retailer call to action. Outbound retailer buttons use practical language such as “Check current options” because Product Desk does not operate a live price feed.
What commercial partners cannot do
- Buy a favourable conclusion or the removal of a drawback.
- Approve an article before publication.
- Require a score, ranking position or claim of hands-on testing.
- Receive personal checkout or payment information from Product Desk.
Our launch-stage links
Product Desk was launched before final affiliate tracking IDs were supplied. Current retailer searches may therefore open without a tracking parameter. This keeps every call to action useful and non-deceptive while affiliate applications are reviewed.
Editorial basis
At launch, our guides are based on published specifications, standards guidance and scenario-led editorial analysis. They do not claim that Product Desk performed laboratory or hands-on tests. Our full method is on the About page.
